In 2018, the Missouri State Patrol Foundation was established. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation supports Missouri’s State Patrol in ways that public government funds cannot be used. Donated funds from individuals or businesses can be pooled generally for needs that arise or earmarked for donations in specific areas.. These areas might include youth law enforcement camps, specialty training for officers or police service dogs, equipment for specialty services and other public safety programs or services.
The Foundation Board of Directors, charged with collecting and guiding the monetary donations, is comprised of volunteers from across the state of Missouri. This group of individuals share a support for, belief in and fondness of law enforcement and public service through the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
